New Ridings Confirmed. At the Manukau and Franklin County Conference, held at Auckland, on Friday, the draft of the ridings for the new Franklin County Council, made by the Executive, was confirmed. There are to be nine members, allotted to the following ridings : Awhitu riding (Awhitu, Pollock, and Nos. 4 and 5 division)— One member. Waipipi riding (balance of Waipipi Road District) —One member. Waiuku Riding (Waiuku Road District)— One member. Mauku riding (Mauku and Karaka) —One .member. Pukekohe riding (Pukekohe West and Pukekohe East Road Districts) — Two members. Drury riding (Drury, Opaheke and Paparata Road Districts) —One member. Hunua riding (Hunua Road District and the outlying district) —One member. Mercer riding (Maungatawhiri, Mercer and Pokeno Road Districts) —One member.
