MORRINSVILLE. | At the Farmers’ Auctioneering i Company’s Morrinsville sale on Fri- | day there, was a good yarding of fat | sheep and fat cattle and a small | yarding of store cattle. Prices were on a par with rates ruling elsewhere. A pen of 10 fat bullocks on account of Mr. Charles Stewart, Tahuna, averaged £l3 ss. There was a small yarding of dairy cattle, and no choice heifers came forward. There was an extra-large yarding of fat and store pigs. Baconers and porkers sold on a par with late .rates, while store pigs were again in keen demand, selling readily at slightly-increased rates. A line of choice maiden sows in pig on account of Mr. H. Gothorpe, of Rototuna, and a line of young pedigree and grade Tamworth sows on account of Mr. W. Bly, of Piako, sold well. Prices were as follow: Beef.— Fat bullocks £l3 ss. The herd came into the ring in good condition, and met with spirited competition, the 40 cows averaging £ll 12s. The fine lot of pedigree Tamworth boars and sows, including many prize-winners, met with keen competition, with high prices ruling throughout.
