PUTARURU PRESBYTERIANS.

WORK OF LADIES’ GUILD. The annual meeting of the Putaruru Presbyterian Ladies’ Guild was held on Friday, the Rev. W. T. Brabyn presiding over a good attendance. The report and balance-sheet presented by the honorary secretary, Mrs. R. G. Hutton, showed that the guild had a membership of 13, and there was a credit balance of £ll. Members were now arranging for a sale of work to be held in December. The following officers were elected: President, Mrs. W. C. Brown (Overdale); vice-president, Mrs. A. Begbie; secretary-treasurer, Mrs. R. G. Hutton; auditor, Mr. Jack Gawith.
