For August supply 21 dairy companies in Taranaki are advancing on an average of Is 2d for cheese and Is for butter. A conservative attitude has been adopted by the majority of the dairy companies in making the advances. Almost all produce shioped has been on consignment, and payments have been affected generally by the agents’ advances.
