KILLINGS FOR THE SEASON. Killings for export at all freezing works throughout New Zealand for the 1929-30 season ended Spetember 15, 1930, were as follow, the figures for the 1925-29 season being given in parentheses Beef, 177,777 quarters (151,481). Wether mutton, 1,463,643 carcases (1,030,920). Ewe mutton, 1,156,575 carcases (716,840). Lamb, 6,925,036 carcases (5,970,787). Porkers, 93,248 carcases (115,669). Baconers, 38,944 carcases (43,704). Boneless beef, 193,755 freight carcases (160,240). Sundries, 213,115 freight carcases (136,295). Practically all the meat exported was shipped to London, although small shipments were made to 15 other ports. SHIPMENTS OF MEAT. The New Zealand Meat Producers’ Board is advised that the shipments from Australia and South America to the United Kingdom during the first half of September were as follows: Australia—Carcases mutton, 10,371; carcases lamb, 8170; quarters beef, 42,486. South America.—Carcases mutton, 13,871; carcases lamb, 32,085; quarters frozen beef, 2346; quarters chilled beef, 196,006. The shipments from New Zealand to the United Kingdom were as follows:—Carcases mutton, 53,141; carcases lamb, 159,095; quarters beef, 2130. The shipments from South America to the Continent of Europe were as follows:—Mutton, 102 tons; frozen beef, 2916 tons. ,
