QUESTION OF AN AERODROME.

SUGGESTED SITE. Is Domain Available ? The question of a suitable landing ; ground for aeroplanes was before the ; Putaruru Chamber of Commerce at its September meeting. Mr. C. C. Neal said that Mr. Wilson and he had inspected the ground at the back of the Recreation Reserve on the Lichfield road, and he thought that it could soon be got into order. The area was about 35 acres in extent. Mr. Wilson said that several obstacles were in the way. It was a domain, and they would have to ascertain if it were available for the purposes. It was decided to ask the Town Board if the ground would be available for the purpose of a landing ground.
