Putaruru. Mrs. Mullaine returned on Saturday from a holiday spent in Auckland. Miss Ibbotson, of Remuera, is on a visit to her sister, Mrs. J. Christie. Mrs. McKemon, of Ohaupo, has been spending a few days with her daughter, Mrs. F. Snell. Mr. and Mrs. Hutton returned on Saturday from a holiday spent in Auckland. Mr. L. Lewis spent the week-end in Hamilton. Mr. Cowan has gone on his annual leave to Auckland and Christchurch. : Miss Wallis and Miss McCarroll 1 have returned from a holiday. Mrs. D. Mrs. Joll, of Hamilton, is on a visit to her daughter, Mrs. H. Lindsey. Matamata. Mrs. L. Flower, of Broadway, Matamata, is on holiday in Auckland. Mrs. W. L. Pirie, of Matamata, returns to-day from a holiday in Auckland. Mr. H. It. Harding, formerly of Turanga-o-moana, has been visiting Matamata. Miss R. Cassin, of Matamata, has been spending a holiday at Otorohanga. Miss Prendergast, of Helensville, is the guest of Mr. and Mrs. J. Malligan, of Matamata. Mrs. Batson, of Auckland, is on a visit to her father, Mr. Neems, of Vosper street. Mrs. W. Wynn, of Hamilton, is visiting her mother, Mrs. E. Fitzgerald, Matamata. Mrs. E. N. Laurie, of Auckland, is the guest of her daughter, Mrs. Adams, of Matamata. Mrs. G. Carlson has been the guest of Miss A. Robinson, of Waharoa road. Miss Butcher, of the teaching staff of the Waikino school, has been the guest of Mr. and Mrs. W. Egan, of Waharoa road, Matamata. Mr. J. Robinson, of Auckland, has returned to his home after visiting his sister, Miss A. Robinson, of Matamata.
Mrs. Neems, of Matamata, who recently underwent a serious operation at the Waikato Hospital, Hamilton, is progressing as favourably as can be expected. Morrinsville. Mrs. W. Meek, of Kurunui, is on a visit to Ohaupo. Mrs. T. Brodie and children have left on a visit to Auckland. Mrs. T. Gwillam has returned from a visit to Owhanga. Mrs. A. Needham and family have returned from a holiday visit to Pukekohe. Miss Noble, who attended the Guider’s Camp held at Otamai last \ week, has returned to her home at I Tauhei. J Mrs. W. North and small daughter, of Matamata, is staying with Mrs. A. Best, Lome street. Miss F. Hemitt has returned from a holiday spent at the Chateau Tongariro and Hamilton. Miss Peggy Seville, of the staff of the Waikato Hospital, Hamilton, spent the week-end at Morrinsville I with her mother, Mrs. G. Seville. Mrs. J. Hopwood and the Misses Hopwood have returned to Auckland 1 from a visit to Miss A. Humphreys, Victoria avenue. l Mrs. C. Peat and children, of Alexandra avenue, have returned from a holiday spent at Dargaville. Mr. and Mrs. C. F. Hart, of Tahuna road, have returned from a visit to Palmerston North. Mrs. S. H. Wilding and children have returned from a holiday visit to Auckland. Mrs. Little and children, of Wellington, are staying with Mrs. J. Allwood, Kereone road. Mr. and Mrs. J.
