PUTARURU CLUB. A commencement with the championship matches of the Putaruru Club was made during the week end the results to-date being as follows: Senior Championship.—F. C. Barnett beat A. H. Dukeson, 3 and 2. Junior Championship.—J. Barnett beat L. Root, 2 and 1; A. Delargey beat F. Jagusch, 2 up) J. King beat R. Hutton, 3 and 2; Dr. Haslett beat V. C. Bailey, 2 up; A. L. Mason beat J. Callaghan, 8 and 7. In a Dukeson Cup match, D. Rolfe (36) beat W. Morse (28), 1 up.
