At the conclusion of the Mata-mata-Morrinsville football match on Saturday G. Carlson was taken co a private hospital with injuries to an eye sustained by colliding with another player in the second half. Carlson was able to leave for his home on Sunday, the injury proving to be not as serious as was at first thought.
