Mrs. O. Soanes has been on a visit to Auckland. Mr. and Mrs. W. N. Tangye, of Piako, have been on a visit to Auckland. Mr. and Mrs. H. Sanders and Mrs. ' E. Andrews motored to Auckland for i the week-end. Mrs. Stevenson, of Hamilton, is j staying- with her daughter, Mrs. N. [ Potter, Waverley street. | Mr. and Mrs. T. Hinkson-Mee, of ■ Central Otago, have been on a short visit to Mr. and Mrs. J. Hewitt. | Mrs. A. Feist, who has been stay- > ing with her mother, Mrs. S. C. Parlour, has returned to her home at Pokeno. Miss Sewell, the travelling secretary of the Methodist Bible Class League, while visiting Morrinsville has been the guest of Mrs. Gardner i Brown at the parsonage. Last week j members of the Morrinsville class I were invited to the parsonage to | meet Miss Sewell, who gave an interesting address on Bible class work.
Putaruru. Mrs. K. Bicknell has returned from a visit to Te Rauwhata. 1 Mr. R. Gilmour spent the week end in Auckland. Mrs. Beca has returned from a Jioliday spent in Auckland. Mrs. C. Young, of Cambridge, is on a visit to her sister, Mrs. J. Francis. Mrs. J. Christie, who has been visiting her mother, Mrs. Stewart, of Remuera, returned home on Sunday. Mrs. Ellis, of Devonport, who has been on a visit to her daughter, re- ; turned home last week. Mrs. K. McDermott and Mrs. R. T. 1 Smith are on a visit to Mrs. J. Ferguson, of Matamata. Mrs. and Miss Ferguson, of Matamata, and Mr. J. Ferguson, of Tauranga, were visitors to Putaruru | during the week end. j Mr. Anna, of Morrinsville, and j Inspector Cummings, of Napier, were 1 the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Mul- j lane last week. Mr. L. Lewis returned last week 1 after his annual leave, a portion of which was spent at the Chateau Tongariro. The many friends of Mr. K. Bicknell, who has been in the Waikato Hospital, will be pleased to hear he is home again, quite recovered from his illness. Matamata. Nurse Jamieson is at present relieving at the Matamata Public j Hospital. Sister Pugh, of the Matamata Public Hospital, is on holiday in Auckland. | Miss J. Baucke, of Matamata, has I left for Masterton, where she is I training as a nurse in the public hospital. I Mr. and Mrs. W. Crabb, of Peria, ) Matamata, spent the week-end in • Tauranga.
