Wedding Bells.

WALL—MAPP. j At St. Mark’s Church, Te Aroha, | on Tuesday, the marriage took place j of Mavis Clare Mapp, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. Mapp, of Walton, and of Mr. Francis William Wall, of Blaehford, Somerset. The Rev. R. L. Connolly officiated at the ceremony. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a gown of ivory satin raine, featuring a slim-fitting corsage and unevenhemlimd skirt, with touches of silver lame. Her white silk net bridal veil fell from a circlet of orange blossom and she carried a shower bouquet of spring flowers and roses. Miss' Phillis Mapp, sister of the bride, and Miss Edna Mapp, the bride’s cousin, were the attendant maids, and wore similar frocks of French blue and pale pink georgette respectively. Their head-dress of tulle and bouquets toned with their frocks. Misses Norma ar.d Audrey Mapp, the flower girls, were frocked in deep yellow and mauve georgette with eapette- to match. Mr. Herbert Wall, the bridegroom’s brother, was best man, and Mr. Claude Kilpin groomsman.

The reception was held at the Majestic Tea-rooms, and was attended by over 100 guests, including a number from Taranaki. Mr. and Mrs. Wall left later by motor on a tour of Auckland and Taranaki districts.
