MONTHLY MEETING. A special meeting of the above branch was held on Saturday. Mrs. Campbell presided over a good attendance of members, those present being Mesdames Karl, Dodd, McKinnon, Walsh, Lopdell, Truss, Morrison, Robinson, Sloper, Sneddon, Ranger, Fitness (2), Nicklin, Brown, - Bathe, Baldwin (2), Hollingshead^ ' Vosper, Voyce, Mullane, Scott, Van Veen, Leslie. The chief business of the meeting was to decide on a site on which to build the rest room. A letter was received from the Town Board granting the lease of a section of land opposite the school for the purpose. It was unanimously agreed to accept the board’s generous offer. Final arrangements for the forthcoming dance were also discussed. Seven new members from the Tokoroa district were enrolled, namely, Mesdames Turner, Nicholson. Wade, ™ Newell, Walsh, Mossip and Graydon. Regret was expressed at the departure from the district of Mrs. Hollingshead, who had been a regular attender at the meetings and a most willing helper.
