MAY AVERAGES. Figures for District Groups. The averages for the 59,817 cows, tested by the New Zealand Cooperative Herd-testing Association in May i were as follow, the figures for May, 1929, being given in parentheses : Pounds of milk 311 (334), test 5.4 (5.2), pounds of butterfat 17.7 (17.09). Last May 47,831 cows were tested. The returns for the Morrinsville, Matamata and Putaruru district groups are as follow: Morrinsville.
