The primer classes at the Putaruru District High School, under their teacher, Miss Wallis, were at home to parents on Thursday afternoon. The class room presented a gay appearance. A Christmas tree laden with gifts giving a reminder of the near approach of the Yuletide season . The children gave a charming entertainment, and each parent went away with a gift.
