Putaruru. Miss J. Flyger spent the week-end at Hamilton with friends. - Mrs. Rutherford is visiting her son, Mr. J. Rutherford, Hauraki Plains. Miss Clemow, of Auckland, spent the week-end with her sister, Mrs. CVosper. _ _ \ Mrs. Allwood, of Matangi, is on a visit to Mrs. A. C. Allwood, of Lichfield. Mrs. S. J. Sawyer, of Remuera, who has been visiting Mrs. S. McGowan, left for her home last week. Miss Barlis, of Christchurch, is on a visit to Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Crabb at the Crossing estate. Mr. Macown, of the local railway station staff, has resumed duty after his annual leave. Mr. L. Davy, of the local post office staff, is relieving Mrs. BStraubell,of the Waotu office. Dr. J. T. Laurenson, of Matamata, | was a visitor to Putaruru on Tuesday afternoon. Miss Allbright, of Gisborne, who has been on a visit to Mrs. Thompson, of Marchant street, left for her home on Saturday. Mrs. A. G. Leggatt left by motor on Sunday for a holiday at Papatoitoi, where she is staying with friends. Miss McClay, who has been spending a holiday as the guest of M A. H. Dukeson, returned to her home last week.
Morrinsville. Mr. and Mrs. O. Soanes motored to Auckland for the week-end. Miss R. Wilson spent the week-end with her parents at' Auckland. Mrs. Aitken senior has returned from a visit to Auckland. Mrs. Ross, who has been staying with her sister, Mrs. E. Bright, has returned to Hastings. Miss Bloomfield, of Auckland, has been staying with Miss M. Allen, of Piako. Miss Eileen McDavitt, of Auckland, is staying in Morrinsville for some weeks. Mrs. Keiley has returned from Whangarei and is staying with her daughter, Mrs. H. Munro, of street. W Mrs. Edgar and Miss Edna Edgar, of Auckland, are the guests of Mrs. Watkins, Canada street. Mr. and Mrs. Vincent and family, of Gisborne, have been making a short stay with Mr. and Mrs. Pickett, Studbolme street. , Mrs. F. J. Marshall was in HamilI ton last week, when she was judging at the Hamilton Show. Mrs. Marshall lis also one of the judges at the Te I Aroha, Show to-day.
