Wedding Bells.
REED—PITTAMS. A quiet wedding was solemnised at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. T. Reed, Moorhouse street, Morrinsville, on Wednesday evening, when their fourth daughter, Miss Marjorie Reed, was married to Mr. James Edmond Pittams, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Pittams, of Hikimutu Valley, Taumarunui. Rev. J. H. Starnes performed the ceremony. The bride wore a neat travelling costume of nattier blue repp and carried a beautiful shower bouquet of white lilac, stock and irises, interwoven with asparagus fern. The bride was attended by her youngest sister, Miss E. Reed, whose frock was of mauve silk. She carried a bouquet of spring flowers to tone. The duties of best man were carried out by Mr. Charles Pittams, elder brother of the bridegroom. The ceremony was followed by a wedding breakfast, at which relatives and friends were entertained. The newly-married couple, who were the recipients of numerous presents, left by train for their honeymoon, which is to be spent touring in the South. On their return they will take up their residence at Taumarunui.
