STUD STOCK.

JERSEY BULL SALE. District Purchases. District purchasers were well represented at the annual National Jersey Show and Sale, conducted at Claudeands on Wednesday and Thursday. The offering comprised 93 stud Jersey bulls, two years and over, and 186 yearling bulls. The average for the 72 senior bulls sold was 51 1-3 guineas, and the average for the 16 yearlings sold was 40 guineas. Top price (227 guineas) was paid by Mr. W. C. Mears, of Ngarua, for Waipiko Conqueror.
