Putaruru. Miss Prescott, of Waihi, is on a visit to Miss Rolfe. Mr. and Mrs. Thompson spent the week-end in Auckland. Mr. and Mrs. W. Stewart, of Remuera, spent the week-end with Mrs. W. King, of Puketurua. Misses E. and A. Ibbotson spent the week-end in Putaruru. They were the guests of Mrs. J. Francis. Rev. and Mrs. W. T. Brabyn are at present the guests of Mr. and Mrs. 1 A. D. Sealy, of Putaruru. Mrs. H. Nixon and children, of Selwyn, have gone to Auckland for a holiday. They are staying with relations. Mrs. J. Murphy left on Monday for Stratford, where she is spending a holiday with her sister. She expects to be away a month. Morrinsviile, Mrs. F. A. Hanan is spending a holiday at Auckland. Mrs. L. Tribe, who has been staying with her mother, Mrs. P. J. McNaughton, has returned to her home in Auckland.

Miss Peggy Robison, of Hangawera road, has returned from a holiday at Tauranga. Miss Taylor, of Rotorua, has been staying with Mrs. D. McLeod. Miss Maxwell, of Wellington, is staying with Mrs. E. H. Hutchings, of Mangateparu. Miss D. Parker and Miss G. Hunt have returned to Morrinsville. Mrs. J. Cottingliam and her daughter Peggy are spending a holiday in Whangarei. Miss Isabel Isherwood, who has been spending a holiday with friends in Morrinsville, has returned to Whangarei.
