Putaruru. Mrs. A. Scrimgeour spent a few days in Cambridge last week as the guest of her brother, Mr. McCathie. Mr. and Mrs. Francis have returned after a pleasant holiday in the South Island. Mr. T. Alward, of Wellington, is at present in Putaruru. Miss Mary Halse returned last week from a holiday at Epsom with her aunt, Mrs. Wright. Miss Ibbotsen is on a visit to Putaruru as the guest of Mrs. K. McDermott. Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Hardy, of Cambridge, were visitors to Putaruru last week-end. Mr. and Mrs. O. Putney, who have for some time been residing at Arapuni, have now made their home at Raglan. Mrs. I. Davis, of Otahuhu, was a visitor to Putaruru during the weekend. Morrinsvi.le, Mrs. B-nwn, of Dunedin, is the guest of Mrs. C. F. Hart, Tahuna.

Miss Isobel I sherwood, of Whangarei, is the guest of Miss H. Arndt, Allen street. Miss Peggy Seville, who has been on sick leave, has returned to the Waikato Hospital. Mrs. Driver, of Auckland, has been staying with Mrs. A. Jenkin, Studholme street. Mr. and Mrs. Cowan, of Tauranga, are visiting Mrs. Raynel, of Tauhei. Miss Robins, of Te Puke, is staying with Mrs. S. H. Wilding, Mangateparu. Mrs. G. Casey and children have returned from a holiday in Auckland.
