Putaruru. Miss J. Flyger has returned after spending a holiday in Wellington. Mrs. G. C. Jolinson, of Putaruru, is spending a holiday in Auckland. Mr. and Mrs. 11. T. Smith spent a few days iri Auckland this week. Mrs. Lindsay has gone to Auckland for a few days. Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Dukeson were in Hamilton for a few days last week. Miss Baxter, of Morrinsville, who has been the guest of Mrs. V. C. Bailey, has returned home. Mr. and Mrs. R. G. Hutton and daughters returned to Putaruru on Saturday after a holiday in Auckland. Miss Farrelly returned during the week-end after a holiday in Waiuku and Auckland. t Misses McCarroll and Wallace returned after a motor tour of the North Auckland district.
Mr. F. D. J. Whyte has returned to Putaruru after spending the school holidays in Auckland. Mrs. A. G. Leggatt and her two sons returned last week-end after spending' the school holidays at the Waihi beach. Madame Winnie Fraser, of Oamaru, who has been the guest of her sister, Mrs. Alcorn, and Miss Bedford, of ■ New Plymouth, who has been the guest of Mrs. Tulloch, left m Monday for Rotorua in continu’6W of their tour of the North Island.
Morrinsville. Mrs. A. Booth and children, who have been spending a holiday with Mrs. L. Echlin, have returned to their home at Epsom, Auckland. Mrs. F. Hawkins has returned to Morrinsville from a shoi't holiday in Hamilton. Miss Margaret Chadwick, of Auckland, is staying with her parents at Morrinsville. Dr. Maria Allen, who has been staying at Annandale, sailed by the Tofua on Saturday for Samoa. Miss Eunice Allman has returned to Morrinsville after spending the vacation at her home in Auckland. Mrs. Alan Feist, of Pokeno Valley, has been on a short visit to her parents, Mr. and Mrs. S. Parlour. Mrs. Leslie Young and small daughter, of Elstow, are staying with Mrs. F. W. Chadwick. Miss Thelma Oates, who has been spending: a holiday at Papakura and Auckland, has returned to Mornnsville. Mrs. J. Orr, of Gordon, is staying with her mother, Mrs. Turner, Kururvui road. , _ .. , Miss B. Fielder and Miss Rutland are on a short visit to Auckland. Mrs. E. Strand has been on a visit to Auckland. Miss Bradley, who has been spending the past fortnight with her people in Wellington, returned to Morrinsville yesterday. Mr. and Mrs. Potter have taken up their residence in Allen street, Morrinsville.
Matamata. Mrs. W. A- Turkington has returned from a visit to Auckland. Mrs. A. S. Thirlwall and family have been holidaying in Helensville. Miss Tierney, of Taihoa, has returned from a holiday spent in Paeroa and Auckland. Miss Sybil Primrose, of Hamilton, is the guest of Mrs. Schofield at the Hotel Braeburn, Matamata. Mrs. McMurtrie, of Devonport, is the guest of Kev. and Mrs. A. C. Hampton, The Manse, Matamata. Mr H. E. Schofield, who has been on a visit to Auckland, returned to Matamata to-day.
Mrs. D. Holmes, of Taihoa, is on a visit to Auckland and Pukekohe. Mr. and Mrs. H. McCambridge, of Malcetu, are the guests of Mr. and Mrs.. A. Darragh, Matamata. Miss J. Kilbride, who has been spending a fortnight’s holiday in Rotorua, has returned to Matamata. Mr. and Mrs. J. Doull, of Kopu, formerly of Matamata, have been the guests of Mr. and Mrs. S. Stockdale. .Mrs. Fagan, of Kopu, has been a visitor to Matamata, staying with Mi’s.. Waite, Station road. Miss Esme Carter, Kamo. Whangarei, is visiting- Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Banks. Mrs. J. Price, who has been holidaying in Cambridge and Thames has returned. Mr. and Mrs. Madill and Mr. and Mrs. J. E. West have returned from Waihi. Miss Marjorie and Master Jack MoMurtrie, who have been holidaymg- in Matamata, staying with Mrs. IN. Blackoum, have returned to Devonport.
