OBITUARY.

MRS. E. HARWOOD. Quite a gloom was cast over the Okoroire and Tirau districts when it became known that Mrs. I E. Harwood, of Okoroire, had passed away suddenly. The deceased was well known and took a keen and active interest in all things that pertained to the welfare of the district. The sympathy of a large number of friends will be extended to Mr. Harwood and the eight children in the loss of a devoted wife and mother. The funeral took place at Tirau on Sunday; the lengthy cortege testifying to the esteem in which the deceased was held. Rev. W. T. Brabyn officiated at the graveside.
