DISPLAYS IN LONDON.
The windows of the New Z3alal-.fi Government offices in London on the north side of the Strand have, for some months past, proved an exceptional attraction to the public who have stood watching the mechanical models which have represented the Dominion *s efforts m honey and meat production and in other directions (states the New Zealand and Australian Trade Journal). These have now given way to a magnificent display of the new season’s apples which seem to attract the eye of the public as easily as did the mechanical models. The other window has, for some time past, contained a stuffed head of a mammoth swordfish, by reason of it 3 appearance, has also been responsible for drawing crowds on I the pavement ar*d has proved a very j popular spectacle. Now Zealand can ! evidently produce some astute windowdressers who are able to attract the eye [ of the public. - |
