FIGURES FOR JUNE. District Factories. Under the new Government regulations companies are now prohibited from paying on a superfine basis during June, July and August. The returns for June of companies ,operating in the district are as follow, the figures for June, 1928, being given in parentheses:— Morrlnsville. Payout, Is 52d (Is 51d); distribution, £3341 8s 5.d. A half-penny bonus on the season's supply is to be paid, amounting to £4683 17s Bd, making the total distribution to suppliers £8025 6s Id. The quantity of butter manufactured during the peason was 1212 tons, an increase of 335 tons on last season. Tatua (Tatuanui). Pounds butter-fat, 9743 (14,551); ] payout Is 5d (Is 6d); disbursement, I £690 Is lid (1091 11s).

Cream equalling : j COO tons of butter was diverted from ’ ’ the Waharoa factory’s area during the season to the company’s factories at Morrinsville and Ngongotahdf N.Z.C.D.C. Payout. An advance payment of Is 6d per J lb butter-fat on first grade cream and Imilk for butter and cheese making will be made by the N.Z.C.D.C. for June supply.
