Putaruru. V Sister M. Barnett, a missionary from the Solomon Islands, is at present the guest of Mr. and Mrs. S. G. Barnett, “ Narbethong,” Tirau. Mr. J. Priestly, general secretary of the Soudan United Mission, of Wellington, was a visitor to Putaruru over the week-end, and was the guest of his daughter, Mrs. J. S. Reid. Adjutant and Mrs. Thompson, who have been at „ the Salvation Army Boys’ Home for several years, have left for Opotiki, where they assume command of the Army's operations. Morrinsville. Mrs. ®cLean, of Wanganui, is visiting Morrinsville. Miss Mary Parlour has returned from a holiday at Auckland. Mrs. I. Cameron and children have left on a holiday visit to Marton. ( Mrs. W. Rutherford, of Tuakau, is visiting her mother, Mrs. Robison, Hangawera road. Miss Peggy Seville, of the Waikato Hospital nursing staff, is at present spending a holiday with her parents, Dr. and Mrs. G. Seville. Mrs. E. A. Crabtree, who has been spending a holiday with her parents at Mount Eden, has returned to her home in Morrinsville. Mr. and Mrs. Fausett, of the Hauraki Plains, were visiting the Morrinsville district last week.
