PROGRESSIVE BRIDGE.

On Monday evening of last week Mrs. K. McDermott gave a progressive bridge party. A very enjoyable evening was spent. Among those present were Mesdames Snell, Eeid, Halse, P.owe, Crabb, Francis, Dukeson and Miss Wright. The -prize for the highest score was won by Mrs. Crabb. Mrs. Dukeson won the consolation prize. On Tuesday of last week Mrs. J. Eeid gave a very enjoyable progressive bridge party in honour of her mother, Mrs. Priestly, of Wellington. Among those present were Mesdames Halse, Tullock, Snell, Hutton, Alcorn. Miss Wallis, Messrs. Rutherford, Snell and Hutton. . Mrs. Alcorn won the prize for the highest score. Mrs. Tullock won the second prize.
