Putaruru. Mrs. and Miss Flyger returned to Putaruru on Saturday, after spending a holiday in Auckland. Mrs. Rutherford left on Monday for a visit to Auckland, where she is staying with friepds. Miss Mavis Bent, of Puketurua, is on a visit to her sister-in-law, Mrs. L. A. Bent. Mrs. W. Hardy, of Wellington, and Mrs. C. Going, of Cambridge, who have been on a visit to Putaruru, left on Sunday for their homes. Mr. J. Rutherford, who has been visiting his mother, left on Monday for Auckland. Mrs. Lawford Reeves, who has been spending a holiday in Putaruru, returned to her home at Kawau last week.

Noble, of Tauhei. j Miss Allman and Miss Thelma Oates spent the week-end at Matamata, where they attended the Bible Class rally. Mrs. W. Noble, of Paeroa, is staying with , her mother, Mrs. R. ■ Atcheson. Mrs. S. Morrow has returned to her home in Morrinsville from a 1 visit to Auckland. [ ! Matamata. ) Miss A. Ware and Miss E. Moore, I of O’Kain’s Bay, Akaroa Peninsula, I after an extended tour of the IslanJs, are the guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. Leask, Matamata. Mrs. Lewis, Hamilton, who has been visiting her • parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. Green, of Matamata, has returned home. Mr. and Mrs. V. Edwards have returned from a visit to Auckland. ■ Mrs. McDermott, of Auckland, who I has been on an extended visit to Mr. I and Mrs. J. E. West, Taihoa, is now , the guest of Mr. and Mrs. J. R. O. I Lochhead, Putaruru. Mr. Cedric P>anlcs is in Rotorua, 1 where he is under treatment.
