Fire totally deslroycd the New Zealand Dairy Company’s 10-vat cheese factory at Manavaru on Saturday evening. The fire originated near the boiler room and the flames spread rapidly. The books were saved but 200 tons of stored cheese was burned. The factory, a wooden building, was covered n.* a po’icy in the Eagle, Star and British Dominions cffice. Suitable arrangements have been made by the comnenv to handle the milk as usual and no further loss or inconvenience is anticipated.
