BRIDGE EVENING.

On Wednesday of last week Mrs. J. Francis gave an enjoyaoie iiag bridge evening in honour of her guests, Mrs. G. Watson, of Cambridge, and the Misses A. and E. Ibbotson, of Auckland. Mrs. Francis was wearing black panne velvet embroidered witn silver; Mrs. Watson, bois de rose melanese; Miss A. Ibbotson, powder blue frock; Miss E. Ibbotson, pink floral georgette. Among the guests present were: Mrs. Snell, flame chiffon velvet; Mrs. Reid, apricot georgette; Mrs. Martin, ivory crepe de chine; Mrs. K. McDermott, cherry velvet; and Messrs. Thompson, Lee, Christy, Schraff, Martin, Beca, Snell and McDermott. The prizes were won by Mrs. Snell, Mrs. Reid and Mr. Francis.
