TIRAU FIRE.

GOOD SAVE EFFECTED. A house owned by Mr. H. Wine was badly damaged by fire on Thursday evening at dusk, while milking was in progress. On the alarm being given a bucket brigade got to work and effected a good save, but not before three rooms were ■ gutted and the contents destroyed. The house and contents were insured but the figures are not available.
