PUTARURU CLUB. The final of the Putaruru club'i» championship singles was played on the Putaruru green over the weekend. Messrs. Leggatt and Holland were the finalists, the latter gaining the honours, the scores being, Leggatt 14, I-lollard 25. The handicap pairs were advanced a further stage over the week-end, when Francis and Hudson, with a handicap of 9, beat Aliiler and Weir (handicap 12) by 24 to 33. Campbell and Yandle (handicap 15) beat Leggatt and F. Snell (scratch), 27 to 23. The semi-final will be played during the week-end between Holland and Palmer and Campbell and Yandle. Francis and Hudson will play the winners in the final. i
