PUTARURU CLUB. I Annual Meeting. The annual meeting of the Puta- j ruru Ladies’ Hockey Club was held . oil Tuesday evening, when Mrs. C. D. Brown presided over an enthusiastic attendance. i f Balance-sheet. The balance-sheet disclosed that £44 12s 7d had been raised during the year, mainly as a result of dances held during the year. The expenses amounted to £29 9s Bd, leaving a credit of £ls 2s lid, which was deemed a highly-satisfactory state of affairs. The balance-sheet was adopted. Election of Officers. The following officers were elected:

Chairlady, Mrs. C. D. Brown ; secretary, Miss E. Rolfe ; assistant secretary, Miss G. Farrelly ; management committee, Mrs. Brown, Misses Farrelly, E. Wheeler, E. Rolfe, R. Gallagher and L. Miller. Training Shed. A letter was received from the Putaruru Rugby Football Union asking for assistance towards the training shed that is being erected. After discussion it was decided to donate £3 towards the fund and also to run a dance on a date to be fixed later. Vote of Thanks. (A hearty vote of thanks was accorded Mr. G. G: Griffiths for his past services, appreciative references being made to the services he rendered to the club in his capacity as coach, etc. It was decided to write to the Rotorua and Piako associations as to their fees for joining the respective associations.
