The establishment of a field in- / spector’s office at Rotorua has been j receiving considerable attention for J some time and it has been decided by the authorities that with the increasing problems of land settlement in this district that the matter could not he further deferred. The Cambridge, Rotorua and Taupo districts will still remain under the direct supervision of Senior Field Inspector M. Galvin, whose headquarters remain at Hamilton, and under whom Mr. Smith will work.
