Putaruru. Mrs. Redfern, of Auckland, is on ■ a visit to her sister, Mrs. L. A. Bent. Mrs. K. McDermott is on a visit to her sister, Mrs. T. Crargy. Mrs. S. McGowan is on a visit to her son at Feilding. Miss Cleave spent a holiday in Auckland, returning last week. Mr. Nixon, of Christchurch, has been on a visit to his sister, Mrs. Tulloek. Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Hardy, of Cambridge, spent last week-end in Putaruru. 1 Mr. S. Parker is on his annual j leave. He is accompanied by his wife and son. Mr. and Mrs. Ellice have been on a visit to Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Allwood, of Litchfield. Mr. and Mrs. R. T. Smith spent ! a short holiday in Auckland during i this week. Mr. and Mrs. R. A. Simcock, of Auckland, are on a visit to Mr. and Mrs. J. Francis. Mr. and Mrs. McCulloch, former residents of Arapuni, spent the Easter holidays with Mr. and Mrs. Karlson. Miss Blimers, of Auckland, and Miss Coup, have just returned from a very pleasant holiday spent at Rotorua. Mr. Lockhead and his little son returned on Monday from a visit to Napier, where they stayed with Mr. Loekhead’s parents. Messrs. Rutherford, Christy and Sehraftt - have returned from a very enjoyable holiday spent camping at Brown’s Bay. Mrs. Hilton Brisco, of “ The Towers,” Matamata, is a visitor at New Plymouth, where she is the guest of her mother, Mrs. W. F. McCallum. Morrinsville. Miss Grace Meek, of ICurunui, is spending a holiday in Auckland. Miss M. Allen spent the week-end at the Guiders’ camp at Otama. Mrs. W. Morrice is spending a few weeks at Auckland. Miss Betty Strand has - returned from a visit to Rotorua. Mr. and Mrs. L. G. Westlake are on a visit to Te Puke. Miss M. „ Clifford, of Remuern, is visiting Mrs. H. J. Clifford, of Morrinsville. Miss Gwen Dunckley, of Te Aroha, has been staying with Miss J. Morrice.
Miss Doreen Tclerton, of Christchurch. is saving with Miss Tolerton, Morrinsville. ] Miss D. Lowry, who has been staying with her sister, Mrs. W. Hames, of Paparoa, has returned home. Mr. and Mrs. Sanson, of Dannevirke, has been staying at the Nottingham Castle Hotel. Miss Brooke-Taylor, of Hastings, is staying with her sister, Mrs. S. H. Wilding, of Mangateparu. Mrs. Breen, of Dunedin, is the guest of Mrs. C. F. Hart, of Maukoro estate. Mr. and Mrs. Johnson, of Waihi, are staying with Mrs. T. J. Ryan, Studholme street. Mrs. J. Gifford and family, of Motumaoho, are spending a holiday at Tauranga. Mr. and Mrs. L. Echlin, Thames street, have returned from a short visit to Auckland. Mrs. N. Barker and family and Mrs. B. Chapman have returned from a holiday at Tauranga. Miss Peggy Seville and Miss Noni I Mclllray, of the Waikato Hospital, i have been spending a few days with Mrs. G. Seville. Miss Kathleen Noble, of Tauhei, is leaving by the Marama on Friday for an extended visit to England, Europe and America.
