CRICKETER’S MARRIAGE.

A forthcoming wedding of interest to all connected with the summer pastime of cricket is that between Miss Marion Lowry, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. H. Lowry, of Hawke’s Bay, and sister to Mrs. Chapman, wife of England’s, captain, and Dr. It. H. Bettington the old Oxford and New South Wales cricketer. The marriage will take place on April 11, and the bridesmaids will be Miss Marjorie Macfarlane, New Zealand’s lady tennis champion, Miss Enid Fa'kiner, sister to Mrs. Jim Lowry, and Miss Ruth Scanncll. The best man will be Dr. Bettington’s brother and Mr. Leslie Hill, of Australia will be groomsman.
