Tirau.
Motor Collision. A collision occurred on the TirauCambridge road on Saturday night, between two motor cars. The drivers were Mr. MeTaggart, ploughman for Mr. J. W. Anderson, and Mr. Wyatt, a local rabbiter. The collision, which occurred on a straight piece of inclined road just beyond Mr. Jordan’s farm, resulted in both cars being fairly badly damaged, though the occupants escaped injury. Accident. A rather painful accident befell Mr. D. Tutehen, an employee of Mr. S. J, Bear, of Tirau. While boiling down some fat the contents of the vat overflowed, scalding Mr. Tutchen’s foot very badly. Personal. Miss J. Tilby, of Tauranga, was a visitor to the Presbyterian show and was the guest of Mrs. Coubrough, senr. Miss Paulene Callaghan, of the Te Awamutu post office staff, is at present at home on sick leave.
