LICENSING COMMITTEE.

WAIKATO ELECTORATE. Candidates Nominated. Although the local, authority under the Licensing Act. is now the Morrinsville Borough Council, the Cambridge Town Clerk has been appointed returning officer for the electorate.

Candidates already nominated are as follow: —Messrs. Francis Joseph Marshall (Morrinsville), Arthur Waring (Taupiri), C. H. Priestly, M. Wells, and T. F. Richards (Cambridge). It is understood that other nominations are likely to be coming forward, and in that event an election will be necessary, the number required on the committee being five.
