TO VISIT MORRINSVILLE.
MINISTER OF LANDS. In reply to the request made by Mr. F. Lye, M.P., to the Minister of Lands, Hon. G. W. Forbes, to visit the Morrinsville district, the member has received a telegram from the Minister stating that he will not be accompanying his colleagues on the forthcoming Ministerial visit to the South Auckland district, but he proposed to make a special inspection with his officers at a later date. The request by Mr. Lye that a visit be paid to Tahuna to inspect drainage works would be taken into consideration when the itinerary was being framed.
