Mr. and Mrs. Halse and family and Mrs. Rutherford have gone tjo Ngongotaha for a week’s holiday. The Misses Lee, of Rotokauri, are visiting their sister, Mrs. Murphy. Mrs. Archie Dare is on a visit to Putaruru, and is the guest of Mr. and Mrs. Howland. Mr. and Mrs. Lockhead have returned after a holiday at Te Awamutu. Mr. and Mrs. Karlson, of Arapuni, have returned from an extensive motor tour. Mr. and Mrs. Coutts, of Whangarei, who are on a motor tour, passed through Putaruru this week. Miss Hewson, of Gisborne, has returned home after spending a holiday at Putaruru. Mrs. Kiwonth and child, of Devonport, have been spending a few weeks with Mr. and Mrs. J. Francis, Putaruru. Mrs. O’Sullivan and young son, of Opotiki, are staying with Mr. and Mrs. K. MacDermott at their house at Lake Arapuni. Friends of Miss Ibbotson will be pleased to hear that she is now convalescent after her long serious illness. Mrs. Leggett and her sons have gone to Waihi Beach for the remainder of the' holidays.
