ARAPUNI MEDICAL CLUB.
The Matamata County Council had a statement before it at the last meeting from the Waikato Hospital Board, which showed the financial position of the Medical Club, to be as follows: Income, subscriptions £540 4s 9d, grants £l7B 11s sd, debit balance £55 15s sd; total £774 11s 7d. Expenditure: Salary (doctor), £125; salary (nurse), £l6B 3s 4d ; sundries, £55 18s lOd; fees incurred by members of club, £425 9s sd; total, £774 11s 7d. The chairman stated that the statement showed the board got about 90 per cent, of their fees. Cr. Rollett stated the position seemed to be more satisfactory than usual. The statement was received.
