PERSONAL.

Mrs, Tulloch and family are in the South for the holidays. Mr. and Mrs. K. McDermott and family are at Lake Arapuni. . Mr. and Mrs. Carlsen, of Arapuni, have been on a motor tour of the North. Mr. and Mrs. Y. V. Overgaard, of Arapuni, have been on a motor trip to Coromandel and Mercury Bay. Mr. and Mrs. J. Lochhead and son have been on a visit to Mrs. Lochhead’s mother at Te Awamutu. Mrs. J. Young, Cambridge, is visiting her sister, Mrs. J. Francis, Putaruru. Mr. and Mrs. Halse and family have returned from Tauranga, where they have been spending the holidays. Mr. and Mrs. Fitzgerald, Tirau, are spending the New Year holidays at the cottage at Lake Arapuni, where they are enjoying good fishing. Sir Dudley De Chair and party visited Arapuni last Saturday and dined at the hostel and then went on to Waitomo. Mr. and Mrs. R. Malcolm, of Timaru, have been spending a short holiday with Mr. and Mrs. J. Francis, Putaruru.
