BAD CAR SMASH.
ON HINUERA ROAD. A bad car accident occurred on the Hinuera road near Matamata recently, when two Ford cars, one driven by Mr. Henry Davis, with his two sisters as passengers, and the other driven by Mr. Ronald G. McCrae, with whom was Mr. George Reisterer, came into collision. As a result of the impact both cars were badly smashed. Mr. Davis and his sisters escaped with slight abrasions and shock, but Messrs. McCrae and Reisterer sustained head injuries which necessitated their removal to hospital.
