SUNDAY SCHOOL TREAT.

METHODIST FUNCTION. The annual Methodist Sunday school tea party and concert was held in the Bible Class hall on Wednesday, 19th inst. There was a great spread of comestibles to which the young people did justice; and the evening’s entertainment, provided by the young people, was a marked success. The programme consisted of songs, recitations, dialogues and a drama -* entitled “The Finding of Moses,” all of the Items being well received by an appreciative audience. At the close of the performance the “Band of Hope*? prices were distributed by the Eev. Ashworth, each recipient being warmly- applauded. The evening marked the close of the Sunday school session for the past year, and the classes will not be recommenced till after the holiday season.
