Notice is hereby given that the Matamata County Council, ih exerI cise of the powers conferred on it by Clause 4 of Regulation 9 of “ The -Motor Lorry Regulations* 1927,” has prohibited the use, on that portion of No. 19 (Waitoa-Taupo) Main Highway, between Campbell Road, Tokoroa, and the Taupo County Boundary, of all Motor Lorries other than those of Class A (laden weight 2i tons) during the period commencing on the 27th day of DECEMBER, 1928, and ending on the 30th day of APRIL, 1929. Provided that this prohibition may be modified in special cases, and on such conditions as the Council may think fit to impose, on written application setting forth all facts in support thereof. MATAMATA COUNTY COUNCIL. CLASSIFICATION OF ROADS. In pursuance of Clause (3) of Regulation 7 of “ The Motor Lorry Regulations, 1927,” notice is hereby given that the Matamata County Council proposes, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by the said Regulation 7 and the amendments thereof, and of the powers delegated to it by the Main Highways Board in respect to Main Highways, to vary the present classification of the portion of No. 19 (Waitoa-Taupo) Main Highway within the Matamata County, and to declare that the portions of the said highway described in the Schedule hereto shall belong to the respective classes of roads shown in the said Schedule. Any person objecting to the proposed classification is hereby called upon to lodge notice in writing of his objection, and of the ground thereof, at the Office of the Matamata County Council, Tirau, within seven days from the publication of this notice. SCHEDULE. Road to be classified in the Third Class, available for the use thereon of any Motor Lorry which with the load it is carrying weighs not more than 6 tons:— That portion of No. 19 (WaitoaTaupo) Main Highway extending from the Piako County Boundaiy southward to the junction of Campbell Tokoroa. Road to be classified in the Fifth Class, available for the use there in of any Motor Lorry wlvch with the 'lpad it. is carrying weighs not more than 24 tons:— • That portion of No. 19 (Waitna Taupot Main Highway .!:•••• from the junction of Campbell Road, Tokoroa. southward to the Taupe County Boundary.
