OKOROIRE CLUB. | The Okoroire club held an evening function on Thursday which whs most enjoyable. During the evening tV prizes won during the year were presented as follow: Ladies.—Monthly medals, Mrs. F. Anderson (3), Mrs. Harwood, Mrs': P. Dee; handicap medal, Mrs. F. Anderson; championship, Mrs. F. Anderson; handicap cup, Miss J. Stewart. Men.—Monthly medals, A. A. Martin, A.'Gray, W* Cole, W. Rice, E. Harwood; handicap, E. Harwood;, champipnslpp, F. W. Hutchison; Hig.ginson eup,-J. Corbett. -
A GOOD ROUND. , Several Matamatar* golfers travelled. to Rotorua for the week-end, and had an enjoyable' time on the Rotorua links! A rather good 'round for a handicap fclayer was put up by J. Corbett, Who completed the- links in 79, or only 9 over bogey. 7.. g ~
