ARAPUNI FIRE.

RESTAURANT BURNED. Early on Wednesday morning a building owned by Mr. E. J. Darby, and occupied by Mrs. Gibbs, as tea and dining rooms, was totally destroyed by fire. Mr. J. Gibbs, a son of Mrs. Gibbs, was sleeping on the premises at the, time, and just sucmaking his escape. The building, which was lately occupied by 'Messrs. Tricket and Scotland as a general store, was situated opposite the Arapuni post office, and consisted of five tteis.
