HIGH PERCENTAGE OF LAMBS.
a H 121 AT KEREONE ESTATE. The lambing figures for the Kero* one estate (Mr. W. J. Aitken) reveal the fine percentage of 121 to date thig season. At the end of last week 2340 lambs had been docked, these bein£| from 1934 ewes. There are still nearly 250 ewes to lamb, and thg number of doubles being born points! to the percentage being slightly in* creased if the weather conditions ard favourable. Mortality both in ewea and lambs has been low, only 20 ewefl having beer? lost. 1
