OBITUARY.

TWO MATAMATA RESIDENTS. Matamata people were shocked during the week-end to learn of the death of two well-known local residents, Mrs. W. Emslie and Mrs. W. T. Walker. Mrs. Emslie, aged 25 years, passed away on Sunday, leaving a widower and two children. Siie was a very valued worker for St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Walker, aged 44 years, leaves a widower. She was for years a much-liked hostess, particularly in Matamata Golf Club circles, ably seconding her husband’s obligations as president.
