PUTARURU CLUB. Annual Meeting. The annual meeting of the Putaruru Cricket Club was held in the Oddfellows’ Hall on Tuesday, there being a fair attendance of players. Mr. J. Martin, senr., presided. Election of Officers.
The election of officers for the coming season resulted as follows: Patron, Mr. A. G. Leggatt; president, Mr. J. Martin, senr.; vice-presidents, Messrs. H. B. Coupe, S. J. Parker, J. C. Tomalin, A. H. Dukeson and F. C. Barnett; hon. secretary and treasurer, Mr. C. D. Brown; club captain, Mr. G. G. Griffiths; committee, office bearers with the addition of Messrs. Paxton, Dewse and Renner; delegates to association, Messrs. J. Phillips and G. G. Griffiths; selector, Mr. E. Renner. General. The subscription for the coming year was fixed at £1 Is, reducable to 10s 6d if paid before December 16. It was decided to order two new bats, a ball and a pair of wicketkeeping gloves.
