N.Z. Beef.—Ox fores 4d, ox hinds 53d, cow fores 3id, cow hinds sd. Argentine Chilled Beef.—Ox fores 43d, ox hinds 63d. Frozen Pork.—Porkers, 601 b to 801 b 73d, 811 b to 991 b 73d, 1001 b to 1201 b 73d ; baconers, 1211 b to 1801 b 73d. Lamb and Mutton.—Market is dull and depressed by heavy pitchings of Home-killed meat.

Beef.—Market quiet but steady. N.Z. Porker Pigs.—Market is easier owing to heavier supplies of Homekilled. N.Z. Baconer Pigs. Stocks exhausted, nominal prices. Lamb and Mutton. Dalgety and Company have received the following cablegram from their London house, dated October 4:—
