Pedigree Bulls.
CLAUDELANDS SALE. Sales br District. Farmers. The representative gathering of breeders at the annual pedigree bull sale, commenced St Claudelands on Monday, under the auspices of the Waikato Combined Breeders’ Association, included a large number of district purchasers and sellers. The average of 28 1-3 guineas was realised for the 92 yearling Jersey bulls knocked down. The 31 two-year-olds sold well at an average price of 37J guineas. In the Shorthorn section 15 yearling bulls averaged a little under 18 guineas and the seven two-year-olds 18 guineas. Three Ayrshire two-year-olds brought an average price of 16 2-3 guineas.
